Bathroom door handle worked backwards, often sticking shut!!! Cell service was terrible, and the lack of boat parking on site was disappointing!!!

This was a good match for a brief stopover in Everglades City with the best value for money ratio. The room was spacious, which made our short stay comfortable despite some lighting issues. Bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper since the hallway noise can be bothersome at night.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
Our family enjoyed our one-night stay in a King Suite. While the decor needed an update, the spaciousness offered a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Earplugs helped with hallway noise. Don't miss dining at nearby restaurants for a taste of local cuisine.

Breaking it down, plain and simple
Great experience for a night! The room was spacious, accommodating three adults comfortably with a king bed and a sofa bed. The kitchenette was a fantastic addition, making it easy to store snacks. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Perfect for a quick stop in the area!

The Deluxe King Suite offered ample space and a comfortable king-sized bed, perfect after a day in the outdoors. The caged pool provided a refreshing escape, allowing for swimming without the nuisance of mosquitoes.
Despite the promising kitchenette setup, the lack of basic kitchen utensils was a letdown. we arrived to find no plates, cups, or proper cutlery, which felt unprofessional given the hurricane aftermath was over four months prior. The air conditioning struggled during the first night, with a temperature hovering around 80 degrees until we were moved to a more effective unit. Also, the bathroom door handle design was inconvenient, requiring an awkward lift instead of a simple pull, and sometimes it stuck shut, which added a minor hassle.

Couples looking for a quiet escape
The front desk staff was incredibly friendly! they went out of their way to recommend a fantastic restaurant just a short walk away, the Camellia Street Grill, where we had an amazing evening meal. Plus, the kayaking they arranged for us was top-notch and right next to the hotel—it was thrilling to paddle through such beautiful scenery.
Wasn’t exactly affordable! but honestly, with everything offered, it still felt reasonable.
